This document gives an overview of how feature requests and bug fixes move through our lifecycle - from initial review to release, along with what each status means and what you can expect at each stage.
Version numbers indicate the product release in which a feature(bug fix is planned to appear or was delivered.
Status Definitions
🔍 Analyzing
The feature request/bug fix is currently being reviewed by the development team. Requirements, technical feasibility, and business value are being evaluated.
Customer Meaning:
- We have received the request.
- The request is under review, but we can’t confirm if or when it will be implemented yet.
- A release version may not be assigned.
Version Example:
✅ Approved
The request has been accepted and approved for future development.
Customer Meaning:
- The feature is acceped to be developed.
- A target release version has not been identified yet.
Version Example:
📅 Planned
The feature has been added to the development roadmap and scheduled for a future release.
Customer Meaning:
- Development has not started yet.
- The feature is planned for a specific version.
Version Example: v3.2.0
NOTE: The planned release can be changed
🟢 Active
This an legacy status on old tickets, normally replaced by another more precise status on updated tickets)
The feature is actively being worked on as part of the current development cycle.
Customer Meaning:
- The item is currently receiving attention from the development team.
- Progress is ongoing.
Version Example: v3.2.0
⚙️ In Progress
Development work has started and implementation is underway.
Customer Meaning:
- Developers are building the feature.
- Functionality may still change before release.
Version Example: v3.2.0
✔️ Completed
Development and testing have been completed successfully.
Customer Meaning:
- The feature is ready.
- It is awaiting packaging into an official release.
Version Example: v3.2.0
🚀 Waiting for Release
The feature/bug fix is complete and approved but has not yet been released to customers.
Customer Meaning:
- The feature will be available in the next scheduled release.
- No further development is expected.
Version Example: v3.2.0
🎉 Done
The feature has been released and is available to customers.
Customer Meaning:
- Upgrade to the relevant release and you can use the feature or the bug has been fixed now.
- The version number indicates when it became available.
Version Example: Released in v3.2.0
❌ Removed
The feature request has been withdrawn, cancelled, or will not be implemented.
Customer Meaning:
- The item is no longer planned.
- No future release is expected
- At any stage before release, a feature may be moved to Removed if priorities change, requirements are no longer needed, or another solution is implemented.
Version Example: N/A
Note
Target versions are estimates and may change based on development priorities, testing results, or technical requirements.
