How Boyum works with Feature Requests (FRQs)

  • Updated

We truly appreciate the time and thought you put into submitting feature requests - they play an important role in how our products evolve. To set clear expectations, this page explains how to submit a request and how we work with Feature Requests at Boyum

How do you submit a Feature Request?

  1. Go to our community
  2. Choose the right product area.
  3. Search for your idea and vote/comment if it already exists.
  4.  If not, click New post, use a clear title, and briefly describe your use case and why it matters.

What happens when you submit a Feature Request?

When you submit a feature request in the community:

  1. Your request is registered and reviewed
All feature requests are collected and reviewed by Development teams.

  2. Voting matters
Feature requests are user-driven. Requests that receive strong interest through votes and comments are given higher priority during backlog reviews.

  3. Fit with product vision
In addition to demand, we evaluate how a request fits with:

    • Product vision and roadmap

    • Technical feasibility

    • Long-term maintainability

    • Impact on existing functionality

  4. Feedback and follow-up
We may reach out if we need clarification or additional input.
Please note that we are not always able to provide individual status updates on every request.

Important to know

  • Submitting a feature request does not guarantee implementation.

  • Even highly requested features may be postponed or declined if they do not align with the product’s direction.

  • Status updates are typically shared when:

    • A feature is planned

    • A feature is released

    • A request is declined for strategic reasons

How you can increase the impact of your request

You can help us prioritize by:

  • Clearly describing the business value and use case

  • Adding real-life examples

  • Voting on existing requests instead of creating duplicates

  • Encouraging other users with the same need to vote and comment

Thank you!

Your feedback helps shape our products and ensures we focus on what creates the most value for our users. Thank you for being part of the Boyum community.
