Important Update: Ensure Your Boyum Products Are Compatible with TLS 1.2
A security upgrade is coming — and access to the Boyum Portal depends on it
Boyum IT is implementing a platform-wide security upgrade to enhance system protection and ensure reliable connectivity for all our partners and customers. As part of this change, only product versions that support TLS 1.2 or higher will continue to function with the Boyum Portal. This aligns with industry best practices for data protection and secure communications.
Why this matters
The Boyum Portal is more than just a cloud interface — it is directly tied to the License Manager. If your customer’s product version cannot connect to the Portal, license validation will fail. This will result in service disruptions and loss of access to key solutions.
To avoid interruptions, it is critical that all customers are running on a supported version that can connect to the Portal.
Minimum required versions:
Product | Minimum Version | Special Considerations |
| Produmex WMS | 2021.03 | Relinking may be required if customised |
| Produmex Scan | 2022.07 | Relinking may be required if customised |
| Produmex Manufacturing | Not available | Upgrade not possible — please contact Boyum |
| BEAS | 2020.12 | |
| B1 Usability Package | 2018.08 |
If your customers are using versions older than these, action is required to ensure continued operation.
Important Cut-Off Date: 1st February 2026
From this date, older versions that do not support TLS 1.2 will no longer be able to connect.
