The Item View Color Mode – visual prioritization by item

The Item View highlights production orders based on the items they produce, allowing you to visually prioritize specific items in your schedule.

You can define:

• A default item color in the Color Setup

• Item-specific colors directly on the Item Card

This view is especially useful for:

• Time-critical items

• Items with high material costs

Applying the Item View

You can activate the Item View in three ways:

• When creating a new simulation by selecting it as the Default View Color Type
  
  
  

• On the "production simulations" page, you can choose it as "default view color type":
  
  
  
  

• Within the Visual Schedule via Actions → View Color Mode → Item View
  
  
  

Note: The item color is applied to the entire production order line.

Customizing Colors

• Default colors can be set in the Color Setup (see example below with grey as the default item color).
  
  
  
  

• Individual item colors can be defined on the respective Item Card for more granular highlighting.
  
  

Example

The screenshot below shows a schedule using the Item View with the following configuration:

• Default item color: Grey

• Item "Frame": Blue

• Item "Rim for mountain bike": Red
