Limitation on Direct Draft creation in "New Outlook" for Print & Delivery Module

Overview

Our B1UP module, Print & Delivery, has always aimed to streamline your document distribution processes directly within the SAP Business One environment. However, recent changes in Microsoft Outlook's architecture affect how our services integrate with Outlook, particularly concerning the creation of draft emails.

Changes in Outlook

The "New Outlook," as updated by Microsoft, does not support the interop capabilities present in previous versions of the Outlook client. These capabilities were critical in allowing third-party applications like B1UP to create draft emails directly in the Outlook client.

Current Solution

Given these changes, direct draft creation in the "New Outlook" is currently not supported. To continue utilizing the Print & Delivery module effectively, we recommend using the Personal Exchange feature as an alternative. Personal Exchange allows you to manage your email drafts through a seamless integration that aligns with the new standards set by Microsoft.

Future Updates and Compatibility

We are committed to providing the best possible experience with our products. Should Microsoft reintroduce or enable interop capabilities in future versions of Outlook that allow for direct draft creation, we will update our module to reinstate this functionality.
