Q: Do partners earn Partner Program points from Certifications?
A: Yes, any new certification grants 10,000 points and these are valid for one (1) year as the rest of the Partner Program points.
Q: How many certifications count towards earning Partner Program points?
A: A total of 5 certifications per solution will grant Partner Program points per year. This means, if a partner certifies 7 consultants for B1 Usability Package in 2024, the partner will only earn 50,000 points (5 consultants, 10,000 points each)
Q: Do partners need certified consultants per solution?
A: Yes, partners need certified consultants based on the Boyum IT solutions they sell. For example, if you are a Silver Partner and you sell both B1 Usability Package and Produmex WMS, then you need at least 1 consultant for B1 Usability Package and 1 consultant for Produmex WMS.
Q: If the partner has one consultant that is certified in 2 solutions, does he/she count as 1 certified consultant for each solution as part of the requirement for the Partner Program?
A: Yes, it counts. For example, if you are a Gold Partner and your consultant is certified in Produmex Scan and Beas manufacturing, this consultant is considered as one certification for Produmex Scan and one certification for Beas Manufacturing.
Q: For Beas and WMS that have Basic and Advanced certifications, is a Basic certification good enough for the program status or is the Advanced also needed?
A: No, to be fully certified, both Basic and Advanced certification must be passed. Beas Manufacturing and Produmex WMS are complex solutions with many functionalities and to guarantee a succesfull implementation, consultants must prove that they have both basic and advanced knowledge.
Q: How long will a certification be valid for the Partner Program?
A: It will be valid for 3 years from the moment the consultant gets its certification. Therefore, a certification earned will get you covered 3 years in the Partner Program. It is important to clarify that, even though certifications are valid for 3 years, points granted by certifications are valid for only one (1) year as the rest of the Partner Program points.
Q: If a partner sells more than one Boyum solution, does the partner need to have the minimum of certified consultants for each tier for each solution in the Partner Program?
A: No, for partners that sell more than one Boyum solution, they need to have a minimum of one (1) consultant per solution, if they are Silver or Gold, and three (3) consultants per solution if they are Platinum, and summing them and reach the minimum number per tier. This means, if a Silver partner sells B1 Usability Package and Produmex Scan, they need to have minimum one consultant for B1UP and one for Scan. It will not be acceptable to have only 2 consultants for Scan and NONE for B1UP.
Same example, now only changing that it is a Gold partner, they will need minimum one consultant for B1UP and one for Scan and, an additional from either B1UP or Scan to fullfil the requirement of minimum 3 from the Gold tier.
Q: One of the requirements in the Partner Program is to have a trained pre-sales resource. How do partners fulfil this requirement, as no pre-sales certification is available so far?
A: Yes, there is a requirement to have one pre-sales guy. As we, in Boyum IT, do not have neither a training course nor certification to validate this at the moment, the partner only needs a person for pre-sales. Our commitment as Boyum IT is to release in 2022 training material for pre-sales that must be mandatory for each partner to upgrade or downgrade.
