Produmex WMS Crystal Reports Printing Issues

This article describes possible Crystal Reports printing issues, reasons and solutions.

Possible errors:

1. Could not load file or assembly

Error details of the error from add-on log file:

“The type initializer for 'CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument' threw an exception. ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.CommLayer, Version=10.5.3700.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.”

Solution for Produmex WMS:

Check if the “Crystal Reports basic runtime for Visual Studio 2008” is installed.

In case the “Crystal Reports basic runtime for Visual Studio 2008” hasn’t been installed, you can download the installers from the url below:

ftp://public:Avaya789@ftp.produmex.name/Install/Prerequisites

From Produmex WMS 2022.04 version the Crystal Reports basic runtime for Visual Studio 2008 is not required anymore. Please check the Release Notes.
