Q: What is the issue?
You can get an error "4008 - Login SLD Failed, make sure the company and user credentials are correct" in SAP Client startup, CRM 4 Outlook configuration, iPayment configuration, or anywhere where a connection to the company database is made. Currently we've only seen SAP versions 9.2 PL10 and higher affected.
Q: What can you do about it?
As for now we only have a SAP note available here: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2541939, however the workaround suggested does not work with our add-ons. We use OUSR udf records in our products and we cannot delete them.
Q: Is there a workaround?
Unfortunately there is no workaround available right now. Best action is to contact SAP support and make them more aware that the bug is causing problems. Only SAP is able to fix this problem.
This error has been fixed in SAP version 9.3 PL01.
