Connect with SSO (Single Sign On)

  • Updated

The SAP Business One solution supports the identity and authentication management service. This is a trusted provider that lets you use single sign-on (SSO) to access the SAP BO.

From the SBO version FP2305 if the SSO is active, the users can not choose between the SSO and SAP BO login, they all must use the SSO.

This means, it is not possible to use the SAP login in the Suite Installer and Fat Client anymore. The users must use the Windows authentication.

Contrary to the label, you do not enter the SAP name and password, but the Windows name and password.

There is a workaround when you do not want or can not use the SSO authentication. Simply login in to the SLD and deactivate the services.

The situation is the same if you want to log in to the Fat Client. The user must type the whole Windows login name and the password.

To make the scanner workers’ life easier, you can create a login barcode for the users, so they only need to scan this barcode for the login.

You may check this example, and generate a login barcode for your needs.
please check on the following example (any other barcode generator site will do the trick):
TAB should be the separator character.

This example helps you to create your own label.
