Guide - Working with e-mail drafts in Citrix/RDP environments

There are two ways to create B1 Print & Delivery e-mail drafts in Citrix/RDP environments where the Outlook client is not installed on the same machine as SAP Business One.

Microsoft Graph API (recommended)

This requires B1UP version 2026.04 or later. Set the delivery method of the e-mail report action to Graph API. The drafts are saved directly to the mailbox in Microsoft 365, so Outlook does not need to be installed on the server. The user can then open the drafts from the Drafts folder in their own Outlook, on any machine.

There are two options:

• Personal e-mail: each user signs in with their own Microsoft 365 account the first time, and the drafts are saved to their own mailbox.
• Shared mailbox: all drafts are saved to the mailbox set as the From e-mail in the Graph API configuration.

Outlook client

This requires that the Outlook client is installed on the Citrix/RDP server. The drafts can either be used in Outlook on the server, or Outlook can synchronize them to the user's own machine.
