Browser access: Addon not compatible

[Legacy note] Browser Access is not supported anymore by SAP or Boyum, so we do not provide free support for it anymore.

After upgrading / installing B1UP, you can sometimes get the following error when trying to run browser access. If you see it then please check that your normal SAP/Add-in install on the server matches the bit-version you installed the Browser Access service in (32 bit/64 bit) and that you have run the add-on at least once in the regular client.

“Add-on B1 Usability Package not compatible”

This also happens because the add-on installation is on another server than the one running browser access.

To fix the issue you need to do the following:

• Go to the server running browser access
• Open the B1 client
• Make sure that the add-on installed.

Browser access should then work.
