How to - set up a CRM for Outlook user - FOR A CUSTOMER

Please note! Please note that all CRMfO users need to have their email registered - the below article will show you how to (= CRMfO user)

In addition, we recommend that the partner assign each CRM for Outlook user with access to the Boyum Portal (under Customers) to be able to manage their licenses. This is a separate login: This is how to grant access for a customer (= Boyum Portal user).

This is how to set up a CRM for Outlook user:

If you are a customer, please contact your partner to have this step conducted.

If you are a partner, you log into the Boyum Portal. If you don't have access to the portal, contact an admin of your company to give you access (this is how to do it) or you can contact sales@boyum-it.com.

1: First, you find the customer's license (trial/OnDemand or OnPremise) under Customer -> All Customers

2: Click to the right in the CRMfO license and select "Application management".

3: Click "Create New User"

4: Enter the mandatory information and click "Create".

Please note that you can access the "Download Subscription"-link from the main page

If the trial has not been created yet, you need to go to Customers. 

- If the customer is new, you need to create the customer first! This is how to create a customer in the Boyum Portal.

- If the customer already exists, you can create a new trial license.

- If the customer has an expired trial, please contact sales@boyum-it.com and they will help activate it again.

 API-KEY: Please note that every license has an API-key. If you create a trial for 20 users, the API-key will be the same. If you need different API-keys, you need to create separate CRMfO licenses. The respective licenses can be named individually, e.g. if you have different server names, subsidiaries etc. to make sure that the users are registered under the correct license.
