Two years ago we announced that the B1 Time Task Module would go into legacy-mode as of January 2020 and now is the time to take the next step and retire the product entirely from January 2022. This article will try to explain all your question on this process.
Q: What are legacy and retirement?

Q: What exactly will happen in January 2022?
A: The following 4 things will happen:
- The website b1time.com/<YourDomain> will be shut down
- In B1UP 2022.02 release Time Task Module will be removed from the product and the Server Component
- Support will not help with this Module anymore (not even premium support)
- Any bugs found or incompatibilities issues due to new SAP releases will not be fixed
Q: Can I continue to use the module if I do not upgrade to a 2022.x release?
A: Yes, but as mentioned we will not offer any type of support so use it at your own risk.
Q: Will my time-registration data be deleted if I upgrade to a 2022.x release?
A: No, we will leave all data in place, but will not offer GUI to manipulate or add it anymore.
Q: Can I continue to use the b1time.com Website after January 2022 (aka time registration via the web browser)?
A: No, the website will be shut down so time registration will only be possible from within B1 Client
Q: Do you offer a replacement product?
A: No, we instead recommend you seek out some of the other SAP Business One Time Registration offerings.
