Some Content Stores require you to accept a Terms & Conditions statement before you can download assets/collections.

Whether this applies to the Content Store you are using, and what the terms say, is decided by the Content Store administrator. If no Terms & Conditions have been set up, you can download assets as usual with no extra step.
When a Content Store has Terms & Conditions configured, they appear as a page in the site header, alongside any other custom pages the Content Store provides. You can open this page at any time to read the current terms, even before you attempt to download anything.
Accepting the terms when you download
If Terms & Conditions apply to the Content Store, they are presented to you the first time you attempt to download an asset:
- You click download on an asset (or a selection of assets).
- The Terms & Conditions are displayed for your review.
- You choose to accept them.
- Your download starts.
If you close the Terms & Conditions without accepting, or choose not to accept, the download does not start. You can return and download the asset at any time once you accept the terms.
Do you need to accept every time?
Once you have accepted the current Terms & Conditions, you will not be asked again for further downloads, as long as the terms have not changed. Your acceptance is remembered so it does not interrupt every download.
How your acceptance is remembered
If you are logged in, your acceptance is remembered in your browser so you do not have to accept the same terms again on your next visit. This applies whether or not the Content Store requires you to log in.
When you'll be asked to accept again
You will be asked to accept the Terms & Conditions again if:
- The wording of the Terms & Conditions is updated.
- The Content Store administrator selects a different page as the Terms & Conditions.
- Your previously saved acceptance is no longer valid (for example, it has expired or your browser data has been cleared).
In these cases, the next time you try to download an asset you'll be shown the current terms and asked to accept them before the download can continue.
If no Terms & Conditions have been set up
Not every Content Store requires this step. If the administrator has not configured a Terms & Conditions page, or has turned this requirement off, you will never be blocked from downloading content for this reason, downloads work exactly as before.
