If you get an error when trying to make an attachment of any kind - typically, but not exclusive to "Access to the path <path to attachement> is denied" - this is caused by a lack of permissions for the CRM for Outlook Server Component to access the path you've selected in SAP for your attachments.
If you are storing your attachments on a network path (not on the local machine) this can cause issues with the default "LocalSystem" user not having the necessary permissions to access network shares in most AD setups for security reasons.
