Can CRM for Outlook run in cloud environments?

  • Updated

We technically work in cloud environments (for us it is just a system like any other) but it is of course up to the people that host the cloud, whether they allow you to install it or not. We know Cloudiax allows it (we have a few customers ourselves there). The server needs to be on a Windows machine so unless you are all Linux it should work.

We made a short video on the matter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgwlYQskQ74 but else just follow normal install procedures: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riEs4AnUoRo

The only special thing is that if you wish to use SAP Single Sign-on and the CRMFO MyData feature you need to check this article: https://support.boyum-it.com/hc/en-us/articles/115009732147-How-to-use-CRMFO-Override-User-mapping-workaround-to-CCC-issue-
