Creating and Customizing Table Texts
Table texts can be created and customized in the Setup dialog. You can decide which Dynamics 365 BC information is displayed as labels in the tables for:
- Jobs
- Job tasks
- Job planning lines
- Resources
- Resource groups
- Resource summaries
Accessing and customizing table texts in the VJS
- Open the User Setup dialog.
- Click New-> Table
In the "View - select table text" dialog, choose the item and/or view for which you want to customize the table label.
- The Edit – Define Configuration dialog will appear.
Here you can add, insert, edit, and delete fields, as well as rearrange their order. Select the desired table and field names from your Dynamics 365 BC data by clicking the “…” button.
Formatting the labels
You can separate field contents using a space or any of the separator characters listed in the VPS Format Strings table.
