Configure tooltips in the VJS

The tooltips in the Visual Job Scheduler (VJS) provide detailed information on the following elements of your project schedule:

• Jobs
• Job planning lines
• Job tasks
• Resource groups
• Resources
• Resource summaries

Customizing Tooltip Content

You can customize which information is displayed in the tooltip for each item type. To do this:

• Open the User Setup dialog.
• Click New-> Tooltip. 

• In the dialog that appears, select the item you want to customize the tooltip for (e.g., Jobs, Resources).
• Add, edit, or remove fields to control the tooltip content.

Adjusting Tooltip Appearance Timing

The delay before a tooltip appears can be adjusted in the Appearance settings of the User Setup. This allows you to control how quickly the tooltip is shown when hovering over an item.
