Importing data from SAP Business One
Click the first button under the Update menu item to import data from SAP Business One.
The following data will be imported into Schedule:
Resource groups
- Name
Resources
- Name
- Resource group
- Type
Production orders (only planned and released production orders will be imported)
- Doc Number
- Item No
- DueDate
- ProductDescription
- PlannedQuantity
- ProductionOrderStages
- SequenceNumber
- Name
- Resource Requirements
- PlannedQuantity
- IssuedQuantity
- Time Requirements
Schedule will be populated by these data points imported from your SAP Business One database, and will provide a detailed plan for your production.
Due to limitations in data availability in SAP B1 and/or exposure in the service layer, Schedule makes the following assumptions:
- Schedule will import your resources with a default weekly calendar for availability. You can change that calendar in Schedule
- To reflect your progress during production Schedule will interpret any ProductionOrderStage with an IssuedQuantity above 0 and below its PlannedQuantity as started Likewise any ProductionOrderStage with IssuedQuantity above its PlannedQuantity will be interpreted as finished
- To allow for more advanced use of Schedule features, Resources with the type “Other” will be interpreted differently. Other will be interpreted as a marker to take the earliest available Resource of the given Resource Group
