Produce / Manager offers a number of settings that will influence the behavior of the application. These options are grouped on various tabs of the Settings page that you can access by clicking on your profile image in the top right corner of the screen and selecting Settings from the dropdown menu.
The Change SAP credentials line shown in the screenshot above is not displayed if your ERP system is Microsoft Business Central.
By default, the Settings page opens on the General settings tab. Select the Priority settings horizontal tab to manage production order priorities automatically.
Here you have the following three settings:
- Priority managed by - It defines the basis for calculating the automatic priority assignment of the production order. It can be set to Start date (which is the default) or Due date. Select from the dropdown list.
- Change to medium priority within … days - It determines whether to assign medium priority to production orders automatically. It can also be left empty, in which case the automatic assignment of medium priority will not take place. The default value is 10 calendar days. In this case, the automatic priority of the production order will be set to medium if the Start Date or Due Date is within the next 10 calendar days and the automatic priority cannot be high.
- Change to high priority within … days - It determines whether to assign high priority to production orders automatically. It can also be left empty, in which case the automatic assignment of high priority will not take place. The default value is 5 calendar days. In this case, the automatic priority of the production order will be set to high if the Start Date or Due Date of the production order is within the next 5 calendar days or the current day or a past day.
Changes made to priority settings take effect overnight.
