To create a resource, click the + Add new button beside your profile picture, and select Operation.
Alternatively, you can also press Add operation in the top right corner of the list of operations that is displayed when selecting Operations from the main menu on the left.
The Create operation page will be displayed.
Provide a code and a descriptive name for the new operation.
Once an operation is saved, it is shown on the list of operations.
Click the name of an operation in the list to edit the name. You can also do so by clicking the options (°°°) button on the right side of the list, and then selecting the Edit option.
Either way, you will land on the detail page of the operation where the only editable field is the Operation name.
You can also use the operation detail page to delete the given operation. To do so, click the Delete operation button in the top right corner of the page. The other way of deleting an operation is clicking the options (°°°) button on the right side of the list, and then selecting the Delete option.
Deleting an operation removes it from your ERP system. Deleting master data is only possible if the validation checks are passed. In addition to the ERP validation rules, Build checks whether the given operation is part of an operation plan in a product request. If it is, the operation cannot be deleted.
