Installation step 6: Assign licenses to users and operators

Each Netronic Manufacturing application is licensed individually. The license assignment option is only available to the Administrator from the Netronic Manufacturing Launchpad. Click on your user portrait to access settings and your account options, and select License assignment.

The License assignment page will be displayed. It has two tabs: one for users (which is shown by default), the other for operators.

Please note that license validity dates and the number of licenses are set in the Boyum Portal.

Users

Inspect licenses can be assigned to users up to the available license quantity. You can assign these licenses on the Users tab of the License assignment page. Set the corresponding switch to Active to assign a license to a given user (identified by their email address) to a given application.

When a user selects a database to log into an application, and a license is available for the application, it is automatically assigned to the user in all available databases.

Users are created in the Boyum Portal and by default are assigned standard permissions. Special, administration permissions must be assigned in the User groups section of the Boyum Portal to access license assignment in Launchpad.

Operators

Access for the operators created is managed on the Operators tab of the License assignment page. Set the corresponding switch to Active to assign a license to a given operator (identified by their code and name).

When an operator enters their card number to log into the terminal and a license is available for the application, it is automatically assigned to the operator in the current database.
