Installation step 4: Set up the SAP Business One company database – Boyum Help Center

In order to synchronize data between SAP Business One and Netronic Manufacturing, you will need user-defined tables and procedures in the SAP Business One company database. You can create these tables and procedures using the Netronic Manufacturing Installer add-on.

If you work in an SAP Business One Cloud hosted by SAP or any other environment where the Netronic Manufacturing Installer add-on is not supported, you will have to create the tables and procedures manually.

Netronic Manufacturing creates several tables and creates/updates procedures as part of this installation. Never manually update the content of these tables.

Use the Netronic Manufacturing Installer add-on in SAP Business One

1. Download the Netronic Manufacturing Installer add-on from the Netronic Manufacturing download page of the Boyum Download Center.

You can also download the installer directly from Netronic Manufacturing during the setup of a new database. To do so, click on the DOWNLOAD INSTALLER link shown in the last screenshot of this page.

2. Install the add-on in SAP Business One in Administration > Add-on Administration.

3. Go to Administration > Add-on Manager and start Netronic Manufacturing.

Approve the prompts that warn you to restart SAP Business One and the SAP Business One Service Layer.

4. Restart SAP Business One.

The SAP Business One Service Layer will be restarted in step 6 of this process.

5. Start the add-on again. Make sure it is connected by checking the content in the Status column.

You should receive the green confirmation message shown below. It indicates that the Netronic Manufacturing Installer add-on performed all the operations correctly.

6. Restart the SAP Business One Service Layer. This is required, as new user defined tables were added.

Restarting the SAP Business One Service Layer requires special expertise. Ask your company's IT department or your SAP Partner to do it for you.

7. Make sure that all required object IDs are enabled for Post Transaction Notification in SAP Business One. Netronic Manufacturing will block the first synchronization, and will throw an error if any required object ID is disabled.
