What's coming in Beas Manufacturing 2022.06

In the version 2022.06 of Beas Manufacturing you will will find WMS integration improvements, new setting of different WIP accounts for Labor and Machine costs, several performance improvements and more. The version is going to be released at the end of June.

Highlights

• Define new WIP accounts for Labor and Machine costs in the Cost Elements definition:

  In the previous Beas Version, it was already possible to define a WIP account for the time receipt, but it was only possible to define 1 for any related element, so surcharge or Labor cost were always using the same WIP account. Now it is possible to assign a different WIP Account to each of them.
  To keep compatibility with old installations if WIP Surcharge and WIP Labor is not defined, the system reads the "WIP Inventory Account" field.

  
  

• Performance improvement in the precalculation process: The calculation process has been optimized so calculations with many items will finish much faster than before.
  
  

• WMS integration: WMS Batch attributes information in Beas WebApps: The Beas Web Terminal 2.1 now provides support to WMS Batch attributes in its apps in the "Batches: Extended information" window. (The support does not cover the apps Goods Receipt and GRPO.)
  
  

• Beas reservations are considered automatically in WMS Picklists: When a customer runs the pick list for production workflow with a Beas reservation, it will be considered automatically when the pick list is created in WMS. If a batch was reserved for a work order at the pick list creation, the process will take the reserved batch. Additionally, the batches or serials in a Pick list will be visible from the work order structure.

• Desktop / Web Terminal / Product Configurator settings moved to the Configuration wizard: The various terminal settings have been rearranged and centralized in the Configuration wizard in a new area "Terminal and WEB APP". The documentation structure will reflect the change with all content changes.
