Release 2026.09 brings the Beas Web Client a big step closer to full parity with the desktop client — most of what production teams do every day around work orders, time tracking and master data can now happen entirely in the browser. Alongside that, new administration and integration tools make Beas easier to configure, connect and extend.

Beas Standalone

In this Beas release we introduce the very first version of the Beas Standalone Web, which allows users in production-only environments to access Beas features without logging into SAP Business One.
The Home page is now the personalized, server-side-stored landing workbench users see after login, offering a tile-based, drag-and-drop-customizable, permission-aware dashboard—organized into editable sections covering shortcuts, KPIs, widgets, and Terminal access—that persists across devices and versions while still letting users add, remove, resize, and rearrange tiles (including custom Entity and External URL shortcuts) from a searchable catalog.


Production

  • New Work Order screens — create and edit work orders and their positions directly in the Web Client: header details, quantities, dates and status, with automatic recalculation when a planned quantity changes.
  • Faster work order creation — start a simple work order with just an item, quantity and delivery date, then fill in the rest on the detail page.
  • Work Order Position detail — view a single production line's quantities, dates and closing state, and jump straight to its Bill of Materials, Operations and Cost Calculation.
  • Structure Refresh — re-sync a position's BOM and routing from master data without leaving the record, with a clear report of what the refresh actually changed.
  • Close, reopen and recalculate — close a position and update its assembled quantity, reopen a document, or recalculate its variables and formulas, all from the Web Client.
  • Calculation view — compare planned and actual cost for a work order position, line by line, in marginal and full-cost terms.
  • Time Receipts — book time against an operation, correct a booking, or confirm completion, now fully available in the Web Client.
  • Active Work Order Times — a live view of everyone currently clocked in, with a home page tile showing the count at a glance.
  • Production Times — review every completed time booking, with operator, resource, duration, quantities and costs.
  • Reservations for the work order process — see and manage the stock committed to a work order without leaving the flow.
  • Available to Promise (ATP) — simulate when a product could be started, finished and delivered, based on live resource capacity and material availability, without writing anything to the system.

Master Data

  • Item Routing & Bill of Materials, redesigned — browse the operations and materials that make up an item, version by version, in a clearer layout with new editing capabilities.
  • Resources — a new graphic view plots capacity against workload for the days ahead, alongside a round of general improvements and desktop-parity fixes for the Web Client.
  • Item Plan Cost — track and recalculate an item's planned cost alongside its actual cost, split into material, labor and overhead.

Administration

  • Authorizations — a clearer permissions model: a catalog of permissions, rights granted per user group, and overrides for individual users.
  • List view templates — save and reuse a list's filters and columns instead of rebuilding the view every time.
  • Beas MCP Server — connect an AI assistant, such as Claude, directly to live Beas data through a standard protocol, under the connected user's own permissions.
  • Webhooks — subscribe external systems to Beas events, and monitor delivery health and failures from a new analytics view.
  • Custom Fields — add your own fields to Beas entities and show them as list columns or on detail screens.
  • Date format — set how dates are displayed across the Web Client.
     

New Beas Documentation

The Beas Web Client now ships with its own version-matched, in-product user manual (English, Spanish, German, with live language switching and light/dark theming matching the client): F1 on any screen opens its documented page in a new tab (or the manual's start page if undocumented), and also features a navigation bar on the right to jump to subsections inside longer topics. The manual offers full-text search across Beas Web Client docs, SAP Business One Web Client screen docs, and a link to the API reference.
