Summary

With our new release we keep improving the quality of Produmex Scan. Now Produmex Scan plays a sound when scanning barcodes. Furthermore, it also supports additional GSI Application Identifiers and the Picklist process is supported with a new green checkmark. We urge our partners and customers to upgrade to this version as soon as possible. 

Playing sound when scanning barcode

When scanning a barcode into any field that can process barcodes, now Produmex Scan plays a sound indicating whether the barcode has been scanned succesfully or there is a problem. You can enable or disable this feature with a separate setting and you can also set the success and the fail sound.

Supported GS1 Application Identifiers

Now Produmex Scan supports the following GS1 Application Identifiers:

• AI 3100 - NetWeightKilo0 - Net weight, kilograms (variable measure trade item)

• AI 3101 - NetWeightKilo1 - Net weight, kilograms (variable measure trade item)

• AI 3102 - NetWeightKilo2 - Net weight, kilograms (variable measure trade item)

• AI 3103 - NetWeightKilo3 - Net weight, kilograms (variable measure trade item)

• AI 3104 - NetWeightKilo4 - Net weight, kilograms (variable measure trade item)

• AI 3105 - NetWeightKilo5 - Net weight, kilograms (variable measure trade item)

Picking Flow

When the picklist is fully picked, that is, there is no more open line on the picklist, Produmex Scan displays the text Picked and a green checkmark on the right side of the screen. On Android version both the text and the checkmark are green.
