Q: Is it possible to say on an Item Master Data Screen to make a UDF that links to a Choose From List of type "Item" (Example Scenario: That you wish to have a UDF that indicate an alternative or Parent Item)?
A: No, this is not possible due to an SAP SDK limitation. It simply does not support that Header data and UDF Target is of the same type (It will instead when you set up such a Choose From List it will instead navigate to the screen). We have informed SAP Support about the limitation but it is marked as a Future Version Candidate so no fix (only SAP can fix this)
