Beas 2026.04: Expanding Manufacturing Capabilities in SAP Web Client

With Beas 2026.04, we continue expanding Manufacturing capabilities within the SAP Business One Web Client, bringing key processes into a more accessible, modern, and connected environment.

This release introduces new functionalities that enhance operational visibility, improve cross-team collaboration, and elevate the overall Web user experience.

A reliable foundation for Web operations

This version introduces a new Web Server, designed to support all Beas transactions in a web environment.

This new component:

  • Provides a more stable and robust execution layer
  • Enhances security for data and API access
  • Improves handling of concurrent users and processes
  • Includes a dedicated installer for easier deployment

It also establishes a standardized architecture that supports future product evolution and deeper SAP integration.

Access to Production Master Data (BOM & Routing)

We extend access to key production data directly in Web.

Users can now:

  • View the Bill of Materials (BOM) of an item
  • Access the associated Routing

This allows users to understand:

  • Which components are required to produce an item
  • Which operations are needed
  • The sequence of production steps

All without switching to the desktop environment.

In this initial phase, the view is simplified and focused on fast access, with future enhancements planned.

Better visibility into materials and inventory

Beas Web expands access to inventory-related information, enabling better decision-making.

Inventory History & Stock Movements

Users can analyze:

  • Historical movements of an item
  • Goods receipts, issues, and transfers
  • Stock evolution over time

Providing better context for operational decisions.

Material Requirement Report

This report provides visibility into:

  • Material demand generated by production orders
  • Required vs. available quantities
  • Identification of shortages

It also allows users to evaluate material needs for specific dates, supporting planning and procurement decisions.

Production overview in Web: real-time operational control

We introduce the Production Cockpit in Web, designed for daily shop floor monitoring.

From a single view, users can:

  • Track work order status
  • Monitor production progress
  • Evaluate resource utilization
  • Identify critical materials impacting execution

The focus is on delivering clear, actionable insights to manage operations effectively.

Connecting Sales and Production

One of the key improvements in this release is the tighter integration between sales and production.

Production status from the Sales Order

Sales users can now directly access:

  • Whether production has started
  • Current production status
  • Progress percentage
  • Estimated completion date

This enables:

  • Faster and more accurate customer communication
  • Reduced dependency on production teams
  • Improved internal alignment

Enhanced Web user experience

The Web experience continues to evolve with usability improvements:

  • Advanced filters with combinable criteria
  • Ability to save personalized screen configurations
  • Export to Excel for external analysis
  • Introduction of simple visual indicators and charts

These enhancements help users interpret information faster and tailor the system to their needs.

Multilanguage & RTL support

Beas Web is fully aligned with SAP Business One Web Client language capabilities, including:

  • Multilanguage interface based on user settings
  • Support for Right-to-Left (RTL) languages

Ensuring a consistent experience across global teams.

Estimated date for the release: April 29th.
