We would like to clarify the current support status of CRM for Outlook, our integration solution for SAP Business One. The functionality and operability of CRM for Outlook is directly dependent on Microsoft’s continued support and development of the Classic Outlook application. Our ability to maintain compatibility, provide updates, and ensure reliable performance is tied to the availability and architecture of Classic Outlook.
What this means: - We will continue to support CRM for Outlook for as long as Microsoft maintains Classic Outlook in a form that allows our solution to operate reliably.
- We will not develop or offer an integration with Outlook on the web, as the technical limitations of the web version do not support the capabilities required by our solution.
- Should Microsoft choose to discontinue, significantly alter, or restrict functionality in Classic Outlook, we will announce the End of Life (EOL) for CRM for Outlook with appropriate notice and guidance.
Once the EOL date is reached: - We will issue credit notes for any remaining subscription period on behalf of your customers.
- For perpetual license customers with an active maintenance contract, we will credit the unused portion of their annual maintenance.
We strongly encourage you and your customers to remain informed of Microsoft’s Office product roadmap. Microsoft has stated that while no specific retirement date for Classic Outlook has been announced, they will provide at least 12 months’ notice before ending support.
