  1. Why is B1 iPayment transitioning to EBizCharge?

As part of the End of Life announcement for B1 iPayment (effective December 31st 2025), Boyum IT conducted an extensive evaluation of how best to ensure continuity for existing customers while enabling access to modern payment capabilities.

EBizCharge is a respected and widely used payments provider with a strong SAP Business One integration and experience in supporting ERP driven payment workflows.

By partnering with EBizCharge, we ensure:

  • Uninterrupted operation for existing B1 iPayment customers
  • A clear and supported transition pathway
  • Access to a broader, modern payment portfolio
  • Regional readiness for future gateway requirements

Boyum IT remains responsible for licensing and renewals during 2026, while EBizCharge will assume full operational responsibility for support and development.

  1. Who handles support before and after the transition?

Until December 31, 2025
All support will continue through Boyum IT exactly as it does today.
Partners should continue opening tickets through the usual channels in the Boyum Portal.

From January 1, 2026 onward
All support, development work, troubleshooting, and technical questions for United States and Canadian customers will be handled directly by EBizCharge.

This includes all new issues, compatibility questions, troubleshooting, and any responsiveness requirements.

Please note: Support and maintenance for B1 iPayment for United States and Canadian customers will be provided by EBizCharge until December 31, 2026. Customers should use 2026 to plan and complete their upgrade to the EBizCharge solution.

For the rest of the world, support and maintenance for B1 iPayment will continue beyond 2026 until a suitable replacement solution is made available. Further guidance will be provided when ready.

  1. What happens to open support tickets on December 31st, 2025?

Any support ticket opened with Boyum IT before January 1st, 2026, will remain Boyum’s responsibility until it is fully resolved. These tickets will not be transferred to EBizCharge.

Any new ticket created on or after January 1st, 2026, will be managed fully by EBizCharge.

This ensures a clean and organized handover with no ambiguity regarding ownership of existing inquiries.

Boyum remains the commercial point of contact throughout 2026, including renewals and additional licenses.

  1. Do customers need to renew subscription and maintenance for 2026?

Yes. There is no change to the renewal process for 2026.

All subscriptions and maintenance agreements for B1 iPayment in 2026 will continue to be billed, invoiced and processed directly through the Boyum Portal.

This applies globally.

Renewals ensure:

  • Continued entitlement to maintenance
  • Uninterrupted access to bug fixes and technical support from EBizCharge
  • Continuity of licensing
  • A stable transition year for partners and customers

Renewals remain a Boyum commercial process even though operational support moves to EBizCharge.

  1. Who handles licensing in 2026?

All licensing and commercial transactions remain with Boyum IT throughout 2026, including:

  • Purchasing additional licenses
  • Managing active subscriptions
  • Generating renewals
  • Handling credit notes where applicable
  • Updating partner commercial records

The commercial relationship does not transfer to EBizCharge in 2026.

7. Will partner agreements or commercial relationships change?

No. This transition does not alter existing partnerships with Boyum IT.

  • Your Boyum IT partnership remains unchanged.
  • Your channel structure, margins, and commercial agreements stay the same.
  • No additional agreement is required to continue using B1 iPayment in 2026.

If you already have a partnership with EBizCharge, you may continue operating with them as normal when transitioning customers during 2026.

New EBizCharge partnerships, where applicable, can be initiated with:

  1. How long will customers be able to use B1 iPayment?

United States and Canada

  • Full support continues through December 31st, 2026
  • During 2026, customers will transition from the B1 iPayment add on to the EBizCharge SAP Business One offering
  • December 31, 2026 marks the official end of life for B1 iPayment in these region

Partners should reach out to their respective Director of Strategic Partnerships to coordinate timelines and transition milestones as applicable.

All Other Regions (EMEA, APJ, LATAM, Africa, Middle East)

  • B1 iPayment remains available and fully supported through 2027
  • The extended support period ensures continuity while region specific alternatives (including local payment gateway compatibility) are prepared
  • Once local gateway support is ready, customers will be guided to transition

This provides ample time to prepare and ensures no operational disruption.

  1. Will B1 iPayment stop working on January 1st, 2026?

No. The software will continue working exactly as it does today.  Only support and development responsibilities transfer to EBizCharge.

From a customer perspective, the solution will continue to function exactly as it does today:

  • The add on will remain fully operational inside SAP Business One
  • All existing payment workflows will continue to run without modification
  • No features will be removed, and no functionality will be restricted
  • System stability will remain intact, with EBizCharge assuming responsibility for maintenance
  • Security and compliance updates will be delivered by EBizCharge to ensure ongoing protection
  • Integrations and gateway connections will remain active during the transition period

There is no requirement for customers to make changes, upgrade immediately or transition to an alternative on January 1st 2026, giving customers ample time to plan their next steps with full support and clear timelines.

B1 iPayment will remain supported and operational:

  • In the United States and Canada through December 31st, 2026
  • In all other regions through 2027, while local gateway alternatives are being prepared
  1. Will the product receive updates after 2025?

Yes, but updates will be released by EBizCharge, not Boyum IT.

This includes:

  • Maintenance updates
  • Compatibility fixes
  • Security patches
  • Any necessary adjustments for SAP Business One operational stability

The product will remain stable and supported during the transition period.

  1. What migration options will be available for customers?

United States and Canada

A structured migration to the EBizCharge SAP Business One add-on will be available throughout 2026. This transition plan includes:

  • Solution assessment and mapping: 

    EBizCharge will work with partners and customers to understand their current B1 iPayment configuration, payment workflows, gateways and integration points to determine the most suitable migration path.

  • Onboarding and provisioning assistance: 

    EBizCharge will guide customers through initial setup activities, configuration requirements and account provisioning to ensure the new payment solution is implemented correctly and aligned with their operational needs.

  • Migration scheduling and coordination: 

    A coordinated timeline will be established to align migration activities with customer availability, internal change windows and business continuity requirements. This includes planning for testing, training and go live preparation.

  • Comprehensive documentation and readiness materials: 

    EBizCharge will provide technical documentation, implementation guidance, configuration instructions and best practice recommendations to assist both partners and end users.

  • Full support during and after migration: 

    During the migration period, customers will receive dedicated support from EBizCharge, including live assistance where required. Post migration support will continue to ensure the new solution is functioning as expected and that customers are able to take full advantage of the updated capabilities.

All Other Regions

Migration timelines will align with local gateway availability, planned for 2027.  Customers will remain fully supported until their region is ready.

  1. What do partners need to do now?

No immediate action is required.  However, partners should:

  • Begin preparing for the transition by familiarizing themselves with the timelines in each region and understanding how support responsibilities will shift between Boyum IT and EBizCharge.
  • Prepare to communicate transition pathways to customers as soon as possible
  • Continue directing all support requests to Boyum IT. From January 1st, 2026, onward, new support cases should be raised with EBizCharge, while any open tickets submitted before that date will continue to be handled by Boyum.
  • Ensure that subscription and maintenance renewals for 2026 are processed through the Boyum Portal as usual, since all commercial administration for the year will remain with Boyum IT.
