To set the role and user rights for your account, go to Settings in the to menu bar, and select Manage. Your account details and - in case you are an admin - the list of users whom you added will be displayed. The row showing your own user details are flagged with a green square.
If you have Admin rights, click the + sign in the top right corner of the screen to add a new user. In the User Details modal that pops up, you can specify the user's rights (permissions), mode and select if the person has a manager role.
The Permission dropdown offers the following user rights options:
- Planner - Has access to all scheduling functionality.
- Viewer - A user who is not part of the scheduling cycle, can't move bars in the plan, but can view the status of scheduling.
- External - Like a Viewer, but with can see very limited information on tooltips and filters.
The User mode dropdown can be set to
- User - Has no administration rights.
- Admin - Can add and remove users, specify rights for other users, log out other users, administrate the subscription.
- SuperAdmin - All Admin rights, plus can assign/remove Admin rights to/from other users or admins.
The modals also allows you to assign the resources and jobs that the user can access, and, for users with Viewer rights, the customers whose production orders are available for them.
Last but not least, a multifactor authentication method can also be selected.
The new user will be invited to Schedule by an automatic email message.
If you need to change or manage the settings for an existing user, click the Edit () icon on the row of the user.
Doing so will display a similar modal to the previous one, just with the user data filled in, where you can edit the information.
If you are an admin, click the Remove () or the Logout (
) icon on the user's row to remove them or log them out, respectively.
