The description below is only Boyum IT Solutions' interpretation of SAP Business One license requirements as of October 2020, and should be used for illustration purposes only.

One SAP Business One Indirect access, user-based (or higher) license is required for each SAP Business One user of Netronic Manufacturing.

One additional SAP Business One Indirect access by non-employees user license is required during the database setup that is used for background processes.

For example, if 5 employees need to log in to Netronic Manufacturing, then 5 SAP Business One Indirect access, user-based (or higher) licenses are required for the users, plus 1 SAP Business One Indirect access by non-employees license is needed for the background process.

There are two ways in which an operator can use Produce / Operator:

1. SAP Indirect access license: With this, the user can work in Produce / Operator with no authorizations, as described above.
2. SAP Professional User: With this, the user must have minimum set of authorizations configured for them in SAP, as specified in the SAP documentation.
