Produce now can handle machine centers specified in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Just as work centers, machine centers are synchronized to Produce and mapped to resources. Production orders containing machine centers can be fully processed in Produce. As in the case of work centers, resource times booked by operators in Produce / Operator are logged as capacity ledger entries in Business Central.
It is important to point out that a machine center needs to be linked to a work center in order to be synchronized to Produce, since the unit of measure of a machine center is inherited from the work center linked to it. Consequently, a production order using a machine center without a linked work center is not synchronized to Produce either.

The release prepares Cloud Apps for the upcoming full integration of Schedule with Produce.

Production managers can now regulate whether operators on the shop floor can see an approved (released) production order. For this purpose, the list of production orders in Produce / Manager has got a new column called Visible to operator, with a checkbox for each order. For unapproved (unreleased) and completed orders, this checkbox is unchecked and disabled, meaning that the operations of the order do not appear in Produce / Operator. For orders that are in progress, the checkbox is checked and disabled. If an order is approved (released), but no operation has been started on it, then its checkbox is enabled, and, by ticking or unticking it, the production manager can decide whether the order's operation(s) are displayed in Produce / Operator.

Boyum IT's quality management toolset got another boost with the introduction of equipment to Inspect. Quality managers can now specify and activate equipment to be used in inspections, then assign them to inspection plans (or test steps) in Inspect / Manager. Inspectors on the shop floor can select the equipment they use for their quality checks in Inspect / Operator. When opening the details of an inspection order, managers can see what equipment has been used to get the displayed findings. Equipment calibration/validation cycles are controlled by managers using the Expiration date setting. When an equipment reaches its expiration date, it is automatically deactivated in Inspect / Manager. Upon finalizing an inspection order, its outcome is recorded in SAP Business One. Now the information passed on to SAP Business One also includes equipment data, enabling richer reporting on product quality.

If you run a test system that is assigned to the Partner demo environment region in the Boyum sales portal, you were notified earlier that, in order to ensure high availability and performance for this environment in the future, it would be migrated to another server cluster. In preparation, you were requested to add the new IP address 20.224.189.229 to your whitelist to maintain access.
The migration has been successfully performed today. If you whitelisted the above IP address, you shouldn't have any issues with accessing the environment.
As we pointed out earlier, the regions Customer (West Europe) and Customer (North America) are not affected by the change.

After its success in the SAP Business One ecosystem, Boyum IT's quality inspection management solution is now also available to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central users. Inspect / Manager and Inspect / Operator can now also be synchronized with Business Central databases, providing a convenient tool to inspection managers and inspectors on the shop floor, enabling real-time data exchange between the quality department and the operational departments. As a first step, currently only raw material inspection is supported, with further functionality to be added later.

Production managers can now select whether an operator can work on more than one operation at any given time. By default, the Multiple operations allowed: Yes radio button is selected on the General tab of all operators' details in Produce / Manager. If the manager changes the setting to No for an operator, then the operator can only start a new operation if they complete or partially complete any operation that they have been working on. In case they still attempt to start a new operation, they will see a warning in Produce / Operator, and the Start button on the operation will be disabled. Any change in the Multiple operations allowed setting takes effect once the given operator has completed or partially completed their ongoing operation(s).
- Produce / Operator
By default, a new column called My status is displayed in the My operations list. It shows the status of an operation from the given operator's perspective, with the values Not started, In progress, Partially completed and Completed. The column previously called Status has been renamed to Overall status in both the My operations and All operations lists, and continues to show whether an operation has been started or partially completed by at least one operator. Its values can be Not started, Started, and Partially completed, and it is not a default column anymore in the My operations list.

Production managers can now set for each operator whether they can change the actual time used for an operation in PDC Steps 3 and 5 in Produce / Operator in case the issue method for the related resource is Manual in SAP Business One. By default, the Time change allowed: Yes radio button is selected on the General tab of all operators' details in Produce / Manager. This means that an operator can make changes to the time value unless their manager selects the Time change allowed: No radio button on their details page, and saves the page. The change will take effect when the operator starts processing the next operation in Produce / Operator.

You can now see a counter in the left-hand menu bar beside Transactions that indicates the number of unprocessed transactions in the system that you may need to take care of. The counter is updated every 2 minutes.
- Produce / Operator
Operators can now see the priorities of the operations available to them, and thus can always select the more important ones for execution. When the manager changes the priority of a production order, the priority of the corresponding operation(s) is updated in Produce / Operator in real time. High, medium and low priority levels are indicated by red, yellow and green arrows, respectively (just like in Produce / Manager) in a newly added column in both the My operations and All operations lists, and cannot be changed in Produce / Operator.

Fixed a bug that caused a reset of serial numbers when serial numbered stock was consumed, and thus could result in duplicated serial numbers. The serial numbers generated by Produce continue to follow the pattern BC-<Production order no.>-<counter>, but now the bug fix ensures that the <counter> value is always unique, and is incremented each time a product specified in the production order is created.

Fixed a bug that allowed the creation of inspection orders for A/P reserve invoices under Goods receipt automations (Support ticket number: 194075). Goods receipt automations are now triggered in SAP Business One by goods receipts and A/P invoices only.

It is now possible to set a global scrap warehouse in Produce / Manager, in the settings area. When the scrap warehouse is defined, product scrap quantities are booked into the scrap warehouse.

Products are now split into 2 categories:
- "My products": products the user has access to
- "Other products": products the user doesn't have access to, either because they don't have a license, or the product is not officially released yet

The full synchronization is now performed separately for each solution (Build, Operate, Inspect, etc.). It now completes faster for each individual solution. When using multiple solutions in the same database, the full synchronization must now be started separately for each solution. The Launchpad does not require a full synchronization. The full synchronization can only be started for solutions with an active license.

Material availability: Check if all materials are available before approving a production order.

Maximum amount of objects for full synchronization: In order to guarantee optimal performance, we introduced a maximum amount of active items, business partners, bills of materials and production orders for the full synchronization when connecting a database to SAP Business One for the first time.
Ignore inactive objects: Inactive items, business partners and resources in SAP Business One are now ignored at all times in Cloud Apps.
