New version [December 18, 2025 @11:00 UTC]
New features
- Inspect
So far, when setting up tests in an inspection plan or inspection order in Inspect / Manager, inspection managers could only use a name field to describe them. Now they can also enter further specifications for their tests, such as the norm/standard/certificate the test is based on using the newly added Additional information field. This information is also displayed for inspectors when they process the related inspection orders in Inspect / Operator.
Thanks to this release, much more test-related information is exported to SAP Business One and stored there in the table BOY_CLOUD_INSP_REST. The newly recorded fields include Additional Information provided by the manager besides the test’s name, the inspector’s Comment on the test along with the inspector’s (operator’s) code (Employee ID), and, for variable tests, the minimum, desired and maximum values (Min Variable, Target Variable, Max Variable).
- Produce / Manager
Produce has been enhanced with support for the case when a company is divided into branches in SAP Business One. In such a setup, a branch must be specified when creating a transaction. Therefore, for companies with multiple branches, the Warehouse settings page in Produce / Manager displays the list of available branches and offers dropdowns to select the scrap warehouse for each of them.
New version [December 10, 2025 @11:00 UTC]
New features
- Build
Build's operation plans now offer all four options that are available in the Type column of the bill of materials in SAP Business One, i.e. Item, Resource, Text, Route stage. Following Operations (the equivalents of SAP's route stages), Resources and Materials (the equivalents of SAP's items), you can now also add Instructions to your operation plans. Instructions are synchronized into text lines in the bill of materials in SAP Business One and vice versa. As a useful enhancement, Build's instructions may contain clickable hyperlinks.

The performance and reliability of Cloud Apps infrastructure has been further improved.
New version [November 13, 2025 @11:00 UTC]
New features
- Inspect / Manager
Goods receipt inspection processes have been greatly enhanced by introducing automatic warehouse booking. When configuring goods receipt automation rules, now you will find a new section, called Warehouse release, on the Post events card. Here you can specify the route of incoming goods before and after inspection. You can select the Source warehouse, i.e. the storage where the goods are received. From there, the stock will be moved on to the Inspection warehouse that you specify. Finally, depending on the result of the inspection, the items land in the Target warehouse for passed inspections or the Target warehouse for failed inspections, selected from the respective dropdowns. If the Target warehouse for passed inspections is managed by bins, you can set the target bin. For each step, you can tick the radio buttons Perform transfer or Transfer request to decide whether the items are actually moved (i.e. an inventory transfer is triggered in SAP Business One) or just a document (i.e. an inventory transfer request) is created about the intended move in the ERP system. All transfers and transfer requests are logged under a new menu item in Inspect / Manager, labelled Transactions. Beside the label, you can see the number of failed transactions, if any. The list of transactions shows the purpose, type, status and date of the events, as well as the number of the corresponding inspection order. The list can be set to show all transactions or only those that, for some reason, could not be processed. Selecting a transaction from the list will open the transaction’s details page, which has two tabs. Its Overview tab shows general information, including batch and serial numbers, if any. The other tab, called Processing details, is particularly useful if a transaction fails. It contains a log of processing attempts along with the corresponding error messages. The page has a toggle switch that you can set to ignore the errors and a button that you can press to retry processing.
- Inspect / Manager, Inspect / Operator
Inspect has added further support to the case when the quality check of several batches or serial-numbered items need to be covered by a single inspection order. If an inspection order involves more than one batch or serial number, now the label Multiple is displayed in the Batch number or Serial number column, respectively. The inspection order detail page lists all the corresponding batch/serial numbers in newly added frames.
Fixes and improvements
- Produce / Manager
Fixed a bug that resulted in discrepancies between the number of production orders with a given priority on the Dashboard and the number of production orders with the same priority in the list of production orders.

New features
- Produce
If your ERP system is SAP Business One, Produce now allows to set how batch numbers are managed when a production order gets partially completed. The Settings / General settings page in Produce / Manager got a new vertical tab called Batch settings. If the New batch for each partial completion checkbox is selected there, then Produce will generate a new batch number for the product whenever processing arrives at a partial completion. Otherwise the product will get a new batch number only upon the full completion of the production order. By default, the checkbox is unselected.
Fixes and improvements
- Produce, Schedule
The cooperation between Produce and Schedule has been further enhanced. As soon as an operation is started or restarted in Produce / Operator, the remaining quantity recorded in it is now passed on to Schedule. Schedule needs this information to calculate the time to manufacture the remaining quantity and to block the resource assigned to the operation accordingly.

New version [June 30, 2025 @10:00 UTC]
New features
- Schedule
It is now possible to define a time buffer that is considered for all jobs with backward scheduling strategies (JIT or JIT+). This time period is then considered in addition to the due date during automatic finite scheduling. You have to specify this due date buffer in the Manage Job Details dialogue when a backward scheduling strategy is selected. Once you have defined a JIT buffer the automatic finite scheduling engine will directly consider the time span by deducting it from the due date. The new feature makes backward scheduling an absolutely valid option, even in a dynamic shop floor environment.
Another new feature is the active tooltip: In the new version, you can open a hyperlink directly from a task tooltip.
In order to keep the data managed by the scheduling engine at the minimum, you can now separate scheduling relevant SAP Business One (SBO) resources from non-scheduling relevant ones. The new functionality is based on the resource properties available under resource master data in SBO. To block the import of a resource from SBO into Schedule, you just need to select a property in the DoNotImportResource field of the B1 Import Settings dialogue and tick the given property's checkbox in the SBO resource master data.
Similarly, you can now use one of the 64 resource properties available in the SBO resource master data to indicate whether you wish to use the given SBO resource as a resource group in Schedule. To do so, select a property in the IsResourceGroup field of the B1 Import Settings dialogue in Schedule and tick the property's checkbox in the SBO resource master data. The new functionality liberates the SBO resource type Other to be used as it was originally intended by SAP.
Custom fields (User defined fields or UDFs in SBO terminology) have already been available in production order titles in Produce. Now they can be used in Schedule, too - and not only in the title, but also in route stage (operation) rows of production orders. For title and route stage rows, the UDF specified in SBO should be listed in the Name column under Settings -> Custom fields -> Job custom fields and Settings -> Custom fields -> Task custom fields, respectively. UDFs cannot be edited in Schedule but can be used for filtering, creating color schemes, shown in the tooltip, etc.
While SBO allows a linear chain of route stages (operations) only, Schedule users can now create net structures of them, even within a single production order. For example, you can specify a route stage with two predecessors. The configuration can be set in the Manage Job Details dialogue. Note that, when synchronizing SBO and Schedule, the net structures you specified will persist in Schedule but will not be exported into SBO.
New version [May 29, 2025 @10:00 UTC]
New features
- Produce, Schedule
If Schedule integration is enabled in the Produce / Manager settings, the sequence numbers used in Schedule are now synchronized into Produce. They are displayed in the new Sequence number column in the list of production orders in Produce / Manager and the operation lists in Produce / Operator.
- Produce
Shop floor operators can now add a remark to the operation that they are working or planning to pick up. They can enter the text in a newly implemented field in the operation's detail view in Produce / Operator, and save it by clicking a button. Once the remark is saved, the production manager can review it in the detail view of the corresponding production order, and take any necessary action.
New version [April 30, 2025 @10:00 UTC]
New features
- Inspect
Inspect now allows shopfloor inspectors to share their observations with the inspection manager using their terminal application. Inspectors can enter their comments regarding each test of each sample in a newly added text field in Inspect / Operator. The comments are saved upon every save action. Before completing an inspection order, the inspector can review not only the inspection results, but also the comments about them on a separate tab. As soon as a comment is saved in Inspect / Operator, it is displayed as part of the results in the inspection order detail view in Inspect / Manager. The number of comments is also indicated for each test and each sample in the terminal and the manager application, respectively. Thanks to the new commenting functionality, the manager can get more information and stay fully up-to-date about the inspection process.

New version [April 1, 2025 @10:00 UTC]
New features
- Produce, Schedule and VAPS
Status information is now synchronized between Produce and scheduling solutions, i.e. Schedule in the SAP Business One ecosystem and VAPS in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. Whenever the status of a production order or operation is changed in Produce, that transition is reflected in Schedule. Likewise, status data is also synchronized across Produce, VAPS and Business Central. Not only are production order and operation status changes transferred to VAPS, but are also reflected in the corresponding routing line status in Business Central. Moreover, the recorded starting and ending times are registered in Business Central Capacity Ledger entries.

New version [March 11, 2025 @11:00 UTC]
New features
- Produce and Schedule
If your ERP system is SAP Business One, your Produce / Manager and Produce / Operator applications have now taken the first step to cooperate with the latest member of the Cloud Apps family: Schedule. Schedule enables you to optimize resource utilization and ensure timely production throughput. It can improve on-time delivery, shorten lead times and optimize processes with effective scheduling. In preparation for automatic scheduling of production orders and their operations, a new column called End date is now added to Produce / Manager and Produce / Operator. Both this and the already existing Start date column have been enhanced to display not just date, but also time of the day if that information is available. Start and end time are used by default in production orders created in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, but they are not handled by SAP Business One. That is where Schedule kicks in. If your ERP system is SAP Business One, you will find a new vertical tab called Schedule on the Produce / Manager Settings / General settings page. If you tick the Use Schedule Start/End date & time checkbox there, then the Start date and End date columns in Produce / Manager and Produce / Operator will show the date and time values copied from Schedule. Otherwise, these fields will contain the date synchronized from SAP Business One.
Fixes and improvements
- Produce / Operator
Fixed a bug that allowed users to apply sorting on more than one column simultaneously in the All operations or the My operations list which would then result in an error. Now sorting can only be applied on one column at a time in the lists.
