FAQ - Uninstall

Q: How do I uninstall your add-on (it is not in Windows Add/Remove programs)?
A: The uninstall is done from inside the B1 Client. Go to Administration > Add-Ons > Add-On Administration. Here highlight the add-on and click the "<" button to unassing it from the database. Finally, highlight and press the remove button. The next time you log out and back in the uninstall will initiate.

Q: Will an uninstall remove my configurations?
A: No, uninstall will just remove the software and never the data in the database (should you wish to install it again later.

Q: Do I need to uninstall manually before I install a new/higher version?
A: No, just install the new version as if the current version was not there. (The upgrade will automatically uninstall the old and install the new. 

Q: I don't want to use your product and have uninstalled it. How do I clean my database for any references
A: Total cleaning is a manual process but it is pretty easy.

1: Remove any UDO registrations that have the BOY_ prefix;
2: Remove User-defined fields on system Tables that have Prefix BOY_;
3: Remove all user-defined tables with the prefix BOY_;
4: Remove the permission tree under additional permissions - Your database is now fully cleared of traces from B1UP.
