When we send a transaction to the gateway, there's always the possibility that it is declined.
We obviously try to cancel the payment automatically, but due to the timing of the gateway response and their processing, we aren't always able to do that.
In the cases where we can't cancel it automatically, we inform the user and ask them to manually cancel the payment.
The error codes that you get can usually be looked up at the gateways site, or you can contact the gateway provider for more information on why any given transaction was declined.
