- Create a new database in MSSQL/HANA with the name e.g. “BEAS_MY_TEST”
- Go to the folder C:\Program Files\beas software\
Now create a new folder and the folder name must be the same as the new database name “BEAS_MY_TEST” - Go to the folder C:\Program Files\beas software\
Rename the folder Beas to Beas_old
If you can’t rename the folder Beas, then go to Services and stop all Beas Services
Create again the new folder Beas - Now you can install the new Beas Version
The Client Installation will be installed in the folder “Beas” - When the installation is finished, go the C:\Program Files\beas software\ Open the folder Beas and copy all subfolders and files to the folder “BEAS_MY_TEST”
- Important! Now rename folder “Beas” to “Beas_New” and then create again the folder “Beas”

Go to the SAP Company Details and give it the new name.
