Planned changes for B1 Usability Package 2022.x releases (6 months early warning) – Boyum Help Center

Hi All

As we are roughly 6 months away from the first 2022.x release I wanted to give you an update on the expected changes for the B1 Usability Package next year so you have time to prepare.

Please note that with all future plans this is of cause subject to change.

Planned Changes

SAP Business One 10 only (no more support for 9.3 and 32-bit)

As already announced here, Boyum Products will from 2022 require SAP Business One 10 as the minimum required version of SAP Business One. This means that all 2022.x release of B1 Usability Package will only be released for SAP Business One 10. So if you are still on SAP Business One 9.3 it is time to upgrade.

Removal of modules B1 Budget, B1 Document Manager, and B1 Time Task

These 3 modules have been in a legacy mode now since January 2020, and in 2022 it is time to fully remove the products from the Package. See the individual announcements here for more details:

Removal of Legacy Plugin System

The B1UP Plugin system that has been in Legacy Mode since January 2018 will be removed in 2022. The system has been obsolete for years, does not support HANA, and is in general not something that can recommend for anyone.
