  • Updated

The Web Client's scheduling functionality is accessible from the administration as shown in the screenshot below. Scheduled jobs can be maintained by a Superuser or a user with the Scheduling role).

To add a new job to the list, click the Add new + button in the top right corner of the screen. Doing so displays the Create Scheduled Job modal.

In the modal, specify a name and a description for the job. Select the job type from the corresponding dropdown. Select the scheduling frequency using the radio buttons:

  • Once
  • Minutely
  • Hourly
  • Daily
  • Monthly

You can specify how to proceed if the job fails: you can set the number of restart attempts and the delay before a restart.

TECH NOTE

The scheduler for the Web Client has been designed to replicate the functionality in the Windows Client as much as possible. However, there are a few differences:

  • Log is never shown
  • In settings, the Client options are not available
  • The individual tasks in the scheduler are called job(s) rather than actions in order to distinguish from the dedicated Actions functionality in Perfion

TECH NOTE

The calculation for the Web Client scheduler uses Cron. Consequently, biweekly and above as well as the second last weekday of a month are deleted/removed.
