Store-wide settings: Organizations & Users

  • Updated

In this section, you manage organizations and the access rights of organizations and users to one or more stores. It is important to note that Perfion supports the creation of multiple stores.

Consequently, you may see more than one store listed within the Sidebar Menu, each with its own distinct configuration and purpose. This allows for efficient management and organization of various stores within your Perfion environment.

Organizations

Create and/or delete organizations by clicking the corresponding button. To grant organizational access, select the appropriate checkbox.

If you wish to restrict access to specific categories, click the Edit button Perfion Content Store Edit button

In this dialog, you can define which categories each organization can access:

  • No access (default) – The organization cannot view any categories.
  • All categories – The organization can view all categories.
  • Only categories specified below – The organization can view only the categories you select.
  • All categories except those specified below – The organization can view all categories except the ones you select.

Allowing Collections
Use the Can create & share collections checkbox to control whether users in that organization can create and share Collections for this Content Store.

  • When enabled, users in the organization can create and share Collections.
  • When disabled, users in the organization will not have the option to create or share Collections in this Content Store.

Read more about Collections here: Creating & sharing collections

To define a whitelist or blacklist, select your preferred option, click Perfion Content Store Edit , and in the dialog that opens, choose the appropriate categories.

Users

All users are assigned to an organization and “inherit” its permissions, including content store and category access. In the current version, both users and organizations must be added manually.

By clicking Edit button.png, a dialog box will appear, and you can enter or change the user's data.
