Introduction

If you click the drop-down arrow next to your username (or the user icon), you get access to a menu with three options. Each option is explained below.

User Settings

In this dialogue, you can choose your User Interface Language, Data Language, Date Format and the Default Section. Please note that the web client will reload when you make changes in this dialogue.

User Interface Language

This setting determines in which language you see menu options, error messages and other system-controlled interface texts. Select the language you prefer. The options are: English, German, French, Danish, Dutch, Italian and Spanish.

Data Language

This setting determines in which language you see and manage data. Your choice controls the language of feature captions, data, units and all other administrator-controlled data and metadata. You can choose one of the languages your administrator assigned to your user profile.

Date format

This setting controls how you see and manage date values. You can choose between DD/MM/YYYY and MM/DD/YYYY. Please refer to Edit date features for details about how to manage date values.

Default section

By default, the first section you will see upon login is Dashboards, but you can change this in the Default section dropdown. The options are:

• Dashboards
• Items
• Channels
• Actions
• Feature Data
• Administration
• Features

If Items or Channels is selected, a second dropdown Default Items / Default Channel appears, listing the available Items or Channels, as illustrated by the screenshots below.

Change Password

To change password in Perfion Web Client can be done by entering the value of the current password, the new password, and its confirmation.

If the new password and its confirmation are valid, and the old password corresponds to the one used to login on the main page, the password will be updated. A short-term notification will then be displayed in the top of the screen to inform that the password has been changed.

Logout

The last and final option you have in the Perfion Web Client is to log out. This will take you to the login screen.
