Infinite capacity for work centers/machine centers

This feature is especially useful for customers who have clearly defined bottleneck areas where planning with limited capacity is essential, while in other areas, unlimited capacity planning is sufficient and more efficient.

Moreover, in cases where orders are running late, this feature makes it easier to identify the bottleneck based on the overload that has occurred—especially when a machine center is set to infinite capacity.

The corresponding work center and machine center cards have been enhanced to include the option "Schedule with infinite capacity."

Once this setting is activated, it is indicated by the ∞ symbol on the respective work or machine center:

The behavior of such an "infinite" center is the same as that of standby resources and subcontractor work centers. Operations may overlap without displacing one another. Activating or deactivating this option affects the respective center in all existing simulations; however, operations that have already been scheduled will not be rescheduled automatically.
