Some data from your ERP system is synchronized with Cloud Apps. For the different applications, separate synchronizations need to be started.
During the first initialization, all data types required by Cloud Apps are copied from the ERP system to the given application.
After this first synchronization, the data is continuously synchronized (added, updated, deleted), so that Cloud Apps always has an up-to-date copy of your ERP data. For the details of this process, see Synchronization with the ERP system - Continuous synchronization.
Synchronization only starts if all prerequisites are met. Moreover, the total amount of objects at the time of the initial synchronization must be lower than the limits specified in Performance recommendations for Cloud Apps.
These limits are only checked during the initial synchronization. Later on, the amount of objects can grow above the limits.
The transaction volume (/day and /min) are recommendations only but are not checked by the system.
In order to accelerate the synchronization process, closed and cancelled production orders are not synchronized.
If a synchronization error occurs, you will receive an error message like the one below:
