Beas-WMS: How to print a production receipt label for Beas-WMS Integration

  • Updated

Problem: WMS Print events do not work for the production process at the integration environment and it is very common to print Finished Product Labels when we receive them in stock.

Business case: we use any of the Beas methods to receive stock (including web apps) and we want to print finished goods labels to be attached to the pallets.

Solution: there is a possibility to trigger a crystal report at Beas “receiptend” event by a Beas Script.

How to:

STEP 1. Open the Administration->Add-Ons->Add-on-Manager (beas)->Project Folder->User Events->StockManagement->ReceiptEnd

STEP 2. Paste the Customizing Script (Attached to this article)

In beas there is a possibility to set the number of copies printed, the printer and it is necessary to insert the .rpt file name.

STEP 3. Trigger the receipt and the label will be printed (crystal report template added to this article).

workordermanagement.src file is stored at the Beas Project folder together with the rest of possible customizations we may have.

Extra bonus: Consider as an alternative solution to print a report from the WMS notification listener, a label in this case, for each SBO Production Receipt (objtype="59") is received.
