Feature Request to Allow Skip Serial Number on Packing Workflow while Scanning

I am requesting a feature to the Packing workflow of Produmex based on the reason that the system does not have this functionality as a Standard Process.

Scenario & Feature Request: 

Scenario:
Item Code = ITM1000
5 X Serial Number Exist in the System = FR1000 , FR2000 , FR3000, FR4000, FR5000

1. Sales Order Created for the Quantity of 5 examples Item Code - ITM1000
2. The item code (ITM1000) on the sales order is managed by Serial Numbers
3. Picklist Proposal Created as Standard
4. Picklist Created created as standard
5. The picker picks the quantity of 5 from the pick locations - The serial Numbers Picked do not matter at this stage of the picking process as picking is performed to a moveable location to be scanned while Packing. 

6. The Packing Emulator is executed.
7. The Packing line is selected
8. The moveable location is selected
9. The stock on the moveable location is displayed as standard
10. The Packing operator on the packing screen selects the ITM1000 and selects the quantity 5 which is equal to the quantity of the picklist as a standard process
11. Add Item Button Clicked on Packing Screen as the standard process
12. The current system design of WMS prompts the user to scan the serial number.
13. As the required quantity is 5 so the first serial number is scanned (FR1000) and the forward arrow is clicked as a standard process.

14. Second serial number is scanned as a standard process
15  After the second serial number is scanned the packing operator found out that all the other  3 serial numbers that were supposed to be scanned are damaged and cannot be packed anymore.

16. As the required quantity was 5 and only 2 serial number has been scanned unfortunately the WMS current design does not allow the operator to skip scanning of the remaining serial numbers 3 in this example and pack the 2 that are scanned.

The feature that will really help at this stage of the Packing workflow is to skip and continue.

Proposed Solution for Feature:

Based on the scenario described above. The proposed solution for this feature in Produmex WMS packing workflow would be if the operator found out that the selected Quantity of serial numbers cannot be scanned then an option or a button to SKIP Serial Number which reduces the required quantity for scanning by 1.

Alternatively, another button called SKIP Serial No /  Skip All for the remaining required quantity for the selected line.

User Message for Feature:

Prompt message do you want to skip 1 serial number or all serial numbers and let the operator confirm. This feature will be very useful, especially for the customers who need to pack/scan  600-1200 serial numbers by scanning them for each despatch.
