Produmex Scan - Disable Bin Location for non-inventory items

In some screens of Produmex Scan, such as GoodsReceiptPOQuantitiesNormalScreen, the bin location field is visible for non-inventory items. This is confusing for users.

  Hi,

  Thanks for pointing this out — you are right, showing the bin location field for non-inventory items can be confusing from a user experience perspective.

  We are currently considering broader UI and usability improvements for the Scan Client in the 2026.12 timeframe, including more structural changes and visual modernization. In that context, this kind of behavior makes more sense to address as part of a standard UX improvement, rather than as an isolated customization. In the meantime, as a workaround, the bin location field can be hidden using the Produmex Scan customization framework, for example by applying conditional visibility rules for the "Bin Location" field in case of non bin-managed items.

  Please contact Support if you need guidance on how to apply this customization in your Scan flows.

  We will keep this feedback in mind when evaluating the new Scan Interface.
