Produmex SCAN needs to lock Pick List when remote users are Picking via PDMX SCAN

Hello Boyum Professionals. Produmex SCAN leaves the Pick List open wen Produmex SCAN users are picking. Back Office folks can be changing Pick Lists while warehouse users are scanning and picking, supporting the pick of incorrect items. Can we get this issue resolved by locking the Pick List when someone is Picking the Pick Lists in Produmex SCAN.

  Thank you very much for your suggestion — your observation is absolutely valid.
  Preventing back-office users from editing a Pick List while warehouse operators are actively picking it in Produmex Scan would indeed help ensure data consistency and reduce the risk of picking errors.

  At present, Produmex Scan does not lock the Pick List when a user starts the picking process. The document therefore remains editable in SAP Business One while the mobile picking is in progress.

  As a possible local workaround, your technical team could implement a rule in the standard SBO_SP_TransactionNotification procedure to temporarily block updates to Pick Lists that are being processed in Scan.
  This would prevent changes from being saved in SAP while the warehouse user is working on the same document.

  I agree that this behavior makes sense as a future enhancement, and I’ll make sure it’s considered as an opportunity at the upcoming versions of Produmex Scan.
