Various material can have significant density changes depending on temperature, moisture etc. Currently, we have only a fix conversion of UoM for density saved to item master.

Request: use the field "batch attribute" as indicator for variable density. Example 1kg = 1/(batch attribute).This value will be used for calculation and material posting. If an item has no batch attribute, master data density will be used.

  But in which way we can work, if a batchnumber not available?

  Example: insert bill of material position - calculate the stock quantity. In this case you don't have a link to a batchnumber.
  Same in MRP and all other planning functions.

  If not a numeric value inside the batch attribute? I think, better is a density field as UDF

  In the backflushing process we can make an issue for more bachnumbers for one bill of material line. In this case we can have different densitys. 

  Generaly we need examples in which way we can administrate this
