B1 Validation Configuration - Conditional Mandatory Field

Hello.

I want to prevent SAP from creating/modifying an inventory transfer request if the To Warehouse equals a certain value AND a header UDF IS NOT populated.

I am able to present a message box to the user that the field must be populated but the record is still created/modified. I need the adding/modifying action stopped when this criteria is met.

Is this possible on this type of record? What should the trigger values be set to?

    If the trigger is working you should be able to block the event.

     

    Are you using a UF "Type" of MessageBox (this is what you need) or Macro?
