Item Placement tool colors inside tab

Hi,
RIght now, when placing items inside a user defined tab and giving them a font color/size the color and size don't apply when opening the window.
if you update the item placement tool while on the tab it works, but if you open the window regularly and then navigate inside the tab the fields stay in the same font size & color.
Am I just missing something?
